05/07 Patch Notes - Small Solo Mode Improvements

Improved Solo Mode for Varnimyr, Pruinaum and Abyss Raid

  1. Improved so that you can immediately revive in Varnimyr, Pruinaum and Abyss Raid Solo Mode by consuming 1 Resurrection Stone.

    • Before) After 15 seconds, revives automatically by consuming 1 Resurrection Stone.

    • After) You can revive immediately by pressing the Z key and consuming 1 Resurrection Stone.

Other improvements

  1. Improved 'Towards the Capital' quest clear condition.

    • Before) Defeat 'Long Range Guard' and 'Close Range Guard' (appears in 'Capital-Bound Train')

    • After) Pruinaum - Clear 'Capital-Bound Train'

Event Dungeon: Chef Devil Chaos!

Collect demonic ingredients by playing the event dungeon.

  1. Access the event via the Chef Devil Chaos UI.

  2. Two-player battle: Bounce food back and forth; dropping food gives the opponent points.

  3. Earn up to 10 [Cobo] Fresh Demonic Vegetables daily (5 on win, 3 on loss).

  4. Daily/weekly quests reward [Luriel] Organic Apple, Fighting Potion, and Giant Stone Apple.

  5. Play 3 times to unlock story chapters and earn various rewards.

  1. Optimization patch applied.

  2. Aqua Festa Hair improved to be dyeable.

  3. Western Gunman hair improved to be dyeable.

  4. An issue where certain Imprints would not apply during [Mod] Meditation fixed.

  5. Chung - Fixed Artillery Strike - Quantum Ballista & Missile Shower skill effect desyncing between players.

  6. Mad Paradox - Fixed not exiting the special state when casting [Mod] Maximum Strike.

  7. Overmind - Minimized the artifacting of skill effects when casting Detoxication with the Gigantic trait.

  8. Avarice - Generosity skill will no longer obscure certain boss patterns.

  9. Fixed crashing when exiting Ereda Island.

  10. Resolved an issue with incorrect Combat Power display when equipping '+6% Damage to Enemies With 100% HP or Less'.

Not sure why this isn't just a thing in raids, tbh. The timed auto-revive hurts more than it helps.

thats the point homie, it's a wipe if everyone dies during that 15 seconds. It's just pointless for solo raids so they removed it for qol.

But it also causes annoyance if the party tries to wipe intentionally, like if they realized they're not able to clear the raid or if someone who's a big factor in clearing the raid DC's in the middle of it. Also even outside of that situation, it's just annoying because what if you were really close to clearing and you and the others still had revives left, but everyone happened to die in that moment? Your party was doing so well, and yet just because everyone died, the game's like "lol no, you suck, try again".

Basically, the whole timed revive system is just a pain in the ass and should be removed entirely. And this is coming from someone who actually enjoys playing the game.

Forgot to clarify, the reason it's annoying when you're intentionally trying to wipe is because you can't cancel your revive, meaning someone could end up being auto-revived before everyone does, wasting revive stones that said players never intended to use in the first place.

just exit the party. if they won't bother trying to find to find people again after they started naming people who join and leave, then they're not worth partying with.

You do know that exiting the dungeon before the results screen pops up costs ED and durability, the latter of which also effectively costing ED, while exiting after it pops up, even in a failed run, doesn't cost either of those things, right?

It's like that for a good reason. You could just die, leech the entire run and only revive at the end.

Or you could just avoid getting hit at all and still leech without using revive stones. Timed auto-revive doesn't really prevent that from happening. Also, I don't think parties that don't like you leeching wouldn't kick you out after the first dungeon, and I think I even remember getting warned about the party kick system in the first Varn raid dungeon just 'cause my party was so OP that I couldn't do shit.

nobody leeches that way because leeching is meant to be zero effort, so if you do your best not to die then you might as well just play normally and not get in trouble as a reward lol

I'm pretty sure that just not dying without fighting might actually be easier than not dying while fighting because in the former you can focus a lot more on what attacks are coming and how to avoid them, while with the latter your focus is also on trying to damage the enemy, which in some cases can actually end up bringing you right into an attack you could've otherwise avoided.

Leeching doesn't have to be zero effort, it can simply be just not doing anything/a lot to actually help clear the dungeon.

you could all also be not complete idiots who do that on purpose like the assholes do whenever things start to look even slightly less than perfect and try to not die at all, even when failure is almost entirely guaranteed.
