I just saw on the KR website that they're finally updating the Magic Wardrobe UI! What took them so long?!

I just realized, they still haven't finished modernizing everything yet! The shops, repair, and Magic Wardrobe still use the old look (at least on NA)!

mystics enchanting as well, being essentially modified from the much older AtV disk slots.

and the item mall is effectively functions like the old ui with the visual style of the new ui. notice how the circle behind the character still distorts and stretches based on the aspect ratio you're using just like MW, but unlike the modern ui stuff like for the character/equipment and customizations.

Item Mall uses the Flash UI they planned to implement for more things, but quit midway. Settings and story dialogues use it too.

flash?!

oh yeah, settings does have the same deal as item mall, can tell because the circles and squates aren't as even sided on non-4:3 aspect ratios. except for the quality settings dots; seems like those were made to be circular for wide-screens, so 4:3 screens will turn them into vertical oblongs.

as for story quests.... well, i've barely kept up with them, but it seems those at least actually do maintain their own aspect ratio. and absolute size overall. seems like they'll only be full screen if one uses the smallest resolution available.

Yeah, I kinda don't like how Story Quest dialogue doesn't fill the entire game window on larger resolution settings (I use the 1920 x 1080 resolution myself).

Well yes, although it's still the same UI for story dialogues and cash shop. They just fixed the dialogues and didn't fix the rest.

And yes, Flash Player is used to animate it.

New om mod dealing 4k damage, insane that they keep it that way actually, should just change it to active skill

I just checked all the Mod (A) Skills, and unless I overlooked something, none of them changed the Skill's Type (Flexibility/Tenacity/Strength/Bravery). Which is interesting 'cause I thought I remembered at least one such Mod (A) Skill existing, but I guess either I'm remembering wrong or they changed it so that it's the same type as its unmodded version.

Ritsu
Ritsu02/01/2025 11:37

Sadly, it's not possible. The type is inferred from the base skill. They'd have to rework their handling for mod skills to allow for changing skill types.

Really? I could've sworn there was one at one point. Oh well, thanks for letting me know.

Really coulden't give RV's skill a buff in damage too? Guess that asking far too much from KOG
