03/06 Patch Notes - Tower of Eternal Falls + Weapon Revision Patch
06 March 2025
Developer Notes
The final dungeon of Doom Aporia has been updated, and we have been consistently monitoring players' experiences and data. Based on feedback, we are making some improvements through this week's update, specifically addressing issues encountered in the Tower of Eternal Falls and dungeon difficulty.
After reviewing the play data, we found that the weapon acquisition and subsequent growth periods may feel too lengthy. Additionally, improvements are needed in how weapons are used during the Weapon Growth Quest.
As a result, we plan to improve the requirements for the Will of the Evil Dragon - Mortal Weapon Growth Quest, redistribute Growth Stage stats, and increase the base attack power of the weapon.
The update for Will of the Evil Dragon - Mortal Weapon will take place on March 13, 2025. The details of the improvements are as follows.

Hey, question.
When did Elly's Knight of Gale gain a flat 50% MP Gain increase on Gale attacks? I can't find it anywhere in the Balance Patch section, and it's not mentioned at all on the wiki's Chivalry page.
The Chivalry page has been updated to mention it after I posted this, but it still doesn't state when it was added.
I'm waiting for updates from na server and kr server :)
I can't believe I got fucked again by KoG for making the non cash shop version of skill/fury rings unupgradable
Looks like the effects are the same, though. Not sure why they even made the Camilla's version.
And honestly, them not being upgradeable has always been the case. It's a little annoying, but that's just how it is.
The problem is that now I go below the CP limit because of this. I can't put them on the regular ring slot now. And the new slot only has one slot for ring. Now I have to buy new one even though I have a perfectly usable ring.
Again, they've never been upgradeable. You were gonna have to get the cash shop version even if they didn't make the Camilla's version of those accessories.
And you still get CP from them being equipped to the Costume slots.
I'm just upset for the unnecessary spending because of this :/
Was planning to use them to get the new accessories
just a note that we still can't essentially equip 2 skill rings even across category boundaries. a (regular) bravery ring on the costume slot will still prevent us from equipping a (Camilla) bravery ring on the regular slot. also, upgraded rings go in the regular slots regardless of whether or not the source ring was regular or Camilla version.
they made sure that that works without bugs because, what was their wording for it... oh, here:
... accessories with excessive stats that harm contents due to being able to be equipped in both Avatar Accessory Slots and Content Accessory Slots may be restricted.
because that would be such a problem even with what this update allows
source: i tried it with some spare stuff i had lying around.
I'll let this one slide because the Guardian Knight ring is pretty good for its price even if they were meant to be filler.
But yeah, this update really boosts your CP/Damage and this is the one they're concerned with? Hilarious.
Oh, and one more thing. If you somehow want to farm secret dungeon with the exclusive SD acc, you better have some spare old rings since it will eat up your normal slot and you can't use the Camilla one on the new slot. Good job KoG.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHH!!! The Camilla's version isn't a Costume accessory! That's why it exists!
There was 1 event where you can get a permanent upgraded version. Sadly they never brought it back like they did with the non-upgraded versions.
Who knows though they might bring that one back someday. Other then that you might either need to spend real money or buy from another player. Last I checked which was yesterday they were going for 500000 ED but with the how things are now I am sure the price will go up.
You lied to us! The new slots aren't just for Ice Burner Accessories, they're also for normal Costume Accessories! (I tried to upload an image, but it kept giving me an error)
I'm partially joking, I can understand that some things can be overlooked in translation or mistranslated.
Apparently I just had to make the image smaller.
I'm aware of this - the initial notice only talked about Ice Burner accessories, they later expanded it into all costume accessories.
Ah. So it wasn't a mistranslation, they just changed it after they originally announced it.
they really called something Jabberwock twice less than 2 years apart for 2 different creatures in 2 regions that are effectively next to each other. even with some justification, that's going to be side-eyed.
semi-aside from that, based on stuff i looked up, i can say this for sure now: the writters are full of gold-flake speckled crap and the plot is sewage with shreds of emo poetry mixed into it.
also, given what this whole raid was like, i wanna ask about that difficulty 4 mentioned in the 01/31 patch notes...
Welcome to designing with disposable content in mind slash writing for villain of the week stories.
i don't mind multiple entities in a series having the same same or title; that's not unrealistic and it at least adds to a sense of something beyond the main plot.
the problem with that one in particular is that it's the same name used within a short time span (less than 2 years) for two creatures whose regions are that close to each other.
the name "Noah" happens in the game for 3 different people, and sure two of them are women from the same region but from different time spans, but one is a living npc we're rarely going to meet, the other is a footnote in the in-game history whose name is used for a location (that wasn't so relevant even when fields were more prominent), and the third one is a male playable character largely unrelated to those other places who was introduced more than 5 years after the other two. at most, they all have "cold stuff ig" in common.
