04/25 Balance Patch - Eve, Rose, Laby, Noah
18 April 2024
Developer Notes
This balance patch will target Eve, Rose, Laby, and Noah characters for updates, and we would like to provide guidance on the main direction of the balance patch.
To address shortcomings in content play performance, some skills will be renewed,
party synergy effects will be adjusted and redistributed, physical/magical attack power passive values, and critical amplification effects will be adjusted.
Additionally, to alleviate discomfort in gameplay regarding summon behavior, especially for Eve 2nd path, which adventurers have often provided feedback on,
the aggregation function of [Code: Recovery - Attention] summon will be changed to ON/OFF maintenance and release form.
Furthermore, some of the skills will be changed so that they can be cast together with summons, and we expect Eve 2nd path's attack ability to be higher.
After this balance patch, an AS patch will be conducted through two weeks of monitoring and data verification.
The next balance patch is scheduled to focus on balance for PvP along with PvP system revamp.
The balance patch can be found HERE.

All the Eves complaining, but forget what it's like to fight against Core. Eve isn't the character, Core is. Core needs to be nerfed so we can actually fight Eve.
who tf cares about pvp
T.T Been years since eve got a git gud balance. Although I expect Sariel to get some support skill (not useless dmg reduc)... but its fine.. at least Kog gave eve some luv.
She did get a defense reduction skill. That's arguably better for top content.
There isn't a single thing that Eve needs.
Said luciel user without any research.. period o.O O.o
They killed Nisha, my only main :D
are you sure? i mean, i first thought that too, but... it may not be like direct neft from 20% poer stack to 5% it may be progressive scale, so the more stacks you have, the more each stack gives. in this case its 5% for 1, 10 per stack for 2 so 20% total, 15% for 3 so 45%, 20% for 4 so 80% and 25% for 5 so 125%. in this case NL is kinda fine, you just have to sacrifice at higher stacks. ofc its IF its like that
I hope you're right my kind sir, that will be a small loss in my book, but I'll summarize it from what I read and veteran NLs talk for the past 2 days:
3% atk power increase
3% maxi and crit increase
10% increased attack range from summon bomb (not damage)
100% uptime of Illusia (20% mp reduction and 10% skill dmg increase) (previously 50% uptime)
That's all for her buff, now her nerf.
Her signature playstyle, the cd reset from her summon bomb, got shafted from 100% total to 25% total. Usually, we use 3 petals for 60% cooldown to be able to loop her main damage skill for dps rotation, or 2 petals if you have maxed cooldown reduction ERP and some other stuffs.
Now, with her upcoming change, in theory, you will not be able to loop her rotation anymore, because it's only 10-15% reduction with the usual rotation, or you drop your dps even further for 25% reduction which just mean longer rotation + not even enough to reset your main damage skill.
Even with the usual playstyle, she struggles to compete with other dps which require less effort for similar result, now with this, she will not be viable anymore.
Please feel free to correct me if it truly turns out that the reduction thing increase based on the petals like you said, the
per growth stage
to
per active growth stage
is indeed confusing Thank you
honestly, idk. regardless how you look on it, its a nerf, not a buff. that per active growth stage sounds like its progressive scale, so the more stacks you have the more each gives. but EVEN IN THIS CASE ITS A NERF. because it will force you to sacrifice at higher growth stages, which makes your rotation longer. and those tiny stat buffs and even Illusia uptime buff WILL NOT cover that lost dps. the problem is that NL rn is barely holding in viable space, any nerf for her rn will throw her back to prebuff state of deadweight by definition, but if ppl in rosso times could take deadweight for marks, with striker party nonsense they can't... and that's exactly what KOG did in this patch, if they not revert it, we'll back to 2019
They changed it to a fixed cooldown decrease buff based on your petals. It no longer reduces cooldowns that have already started.
it this is true - RIP NL wait, there is not a single word about it in discription... i mean, this would completely kill her as a class. even KOG are not dumb enough to do that without major buffs along with it. yet she got only couple minor buffs, no changes in skills whatsoever. even with current version of that passive she's barelly average in terms of damage, removing that cooldown reset will make her do support level dmg... something's wrong here
The description before change doesn't mention anything about reducing remaining cooldowns either, but the method of applying it has also changed according to their patch notes.
well, idk, if it is like you say, this passive will not work at all. if its just a CDR buff depending of how much stacks you have, you need to keep the stacks, but the core of NL gameplay is cycling throught summons. sacrifice remove stacks, but her buffs are 20 sec long and they didn't increase that duration in this patch, so you will have to cycle them. but if you do cycle them, that CDR bonus will never apply on you because you never keep those stacks. also even KOG aren't dumb enough to change the class core fetures so mucch without major changes in skills or other passivies, but they barely changes anything in this patch. i mean, nerfing that passive the way you say will absolutely destroy her damage. with that 100% cooldown reset she have now, NL is still not even close to real DPS classes, unless you're overgeared. if they take it off, her damage will be RaS level...
I was right, it's exactly like this btw. You can't expect KoG to understand the playstyle of your char.
then im done with this game once that patch come to me. idk what IQ they need to have to think its a good ideea to nerf UNDERPOWERED char so hard, prob negative numbers...
