Developer Notes
The Revision Balance Patch will be carried out during this maintenance.
This patch took into consideration the opinion of adventurers who reviewed the changed skills and passives in terms of convenience and usability.
Also, considering the direction of the Balance Patches, we will keep checking up on modified characters if there are any inconveniences in performing the character's pre-determined role due to play patterns dynamically changing.
We also looked at the play data of the characters whose balance was implemented in November 2023.
Effects of some party synergy will be adjusted by adding new options or numerical adjustments. We plan to keep adjusting the party synergy area.
The characters subject to the 29th February Balance Patch are Elsword, Rena, Ara and Add.
Enhancement System Revamp
For all items that can be enhanced, an enhancement gauge will be applied through level 7 to 10.
When attempting to enhance equipment through level 7 to 10 using 'Blessed Fluorite Ore', the enhancement gauge will increase.
Each click increases the enhancement gauge by uniform amounts based on level.

The enhancement gauge applies to any item that is attempted to be enhanced.
When the enhancement level is changed (increase, decrease, reset) or that item took part in a transaction (personal trade, board, Guild Chest, mail), the gauge will be reset.
When moving the item between characters through the Shared Bank, receiving unsold goods from the board, or changing the Rigomor Armor color / Tenebrous Armor character, the gauge will be maintained.
Should the gauge reach 100%, you can perform a [Guaranteed Enhancement] and proceed to the next enhancement level without consuming any materials.

Enhancement UI Revamp
The overall Enhancement UI will be revamped.
The information about base stat difference is hidden by default, you can look it up by clicking the magnifying glass icon.
The information about enhancement effects is hidden by default, you can look it up by clicking the magnifying glass icon. (Items without effects cannot be viewed)
You can more clearly check the type of enhancement depending on its level and the materials consumed.
For items with the maximum enhancement level, the entire UI is grayed out, and base stat increase is noted with a hyphen (-).
Some of the enhancement guide UI and enhancement tooltips will be modified.
Blacksmith Profession Improvement
The Blacksmith Dismantle function will be replaced with the Blacksmith Reforge function.
The Reforge fee can be decreased by 1% per Blacksmith Profession Level.

Revision Character Balance Patch
This patch will come along with the 01/04 balance on all non-Korean servers, so the old notice was updated to also include the newest changes.
Use Ctrl+F on the page and search for "revision" to quickly access all the changed skills. Remember to check every page (it opens on page 1 by default).

Exciting Hedgehog Draw Attendance
[Event Duration] January 18 ~ February 1
[Event Target] Characters Lv. 10 or higher (per account)
[Event Details] During the event period, stay logged on for 15 minutes every day to receive one chance to draw and obtain various items.
Perform daily / weekly quest to enjoy additional rewards. Depending on the cumulative number of draws, you can obtain [Luriel] El Tree Seed 50x or [CoBo] Amethyst or Tenebrous Aura Selection Cube.
Special rewards can also be received, like [Cobo] Special Advanced Vision Stone Selection Cube.

Challenge Mode - fixed an issue where the Silent Watcher does not disappear under certain circumstances.
Fixed the issue of Dream Eater's HP not being clearly visible in Phase 2 of Nightmare Nest (Story / General).
Fixed the dungeon not completing when the host left before it ended in Phase 3 of Birth of Origin (Story / General).
Resolved a black screen error during Plegas's Labyrinth.
Fixed being able to reset Challenge Mode an infinite amount of times.

[Ariel] Highly Concentrated Recovery Potion can now be stacked up to 500 times in the inventory.
Fixed Complete Recovery Potion obtained by exchanging the Secret Dungeon Entry Permit not being able to stack with other items of this kind in the inventory.
Added [Fixed Effect] information to the tooltips of Challenge Mode Marks.
Other
Some Ice Burner hair can now be dyed.
When selecting a pet equipped with a stone that increases Expedition success rate, fixed the effect applying abnormally.
The issue where the popup window displayed during official match promotion could not be closed using keyboard shortcuts will be fixed.
The problem where buff icons were displayed when entering the studio and wedding hall under certain circumstances will be addressed.
The issue where UI did not close when moving from the [Cobo] Prof. Pho's Growth Guide to the character selection screen will be fixed.
The problem where icons did not refresh when trying on favorited customization items in full-screen mode within the cash shop will be resolved.
The problem where a yellow border appeared on existing customization item slots in full-screen mode within the cash shop will be fixed.
The issue where, under specific conditions, the world map showed icons of other characters after using [Cobo] Transport Service to move to a different town and reconnecting with another character will be corrected.
The problem where action was not possible during NPC dialogue in situations with friend request popups will be fixed.
When using Magic Wardrobe tickets, fixed an issue that made you unable to register items at the end of the list.
The problem where the avatar inventory page did not function properly when removing costumes under specific conditions will be fixed.
The issue preventing the use of other stat-granting customization items in the inventory when a customization with bestowed stats was selected in the customization UI will be resolved.
The problem where clicking on the Quest Helper UI area in Lithia's village 'The Rift' would trigger normal village interactions will be fixed.
The achievement button will be added to the character information, and the achievement UI will now appear closed when using the "Inspect" function.
The issue preventing the assembly of El Tears through mouse drag will be fixed.
The problem where the displayed percentage of remaining stamina and life stamina in certain situations was different from the actual values will be corrected.
The issue where UI overlapped when viewing another character's personal bank while using personal bank will be corrected.
The problem where SD characters were displayed around when connecting while far away in the same village will be fixed.
The issue with the awkward positioning of chat bubbles in the sparring lobby will be addressed.
The problem where character titles were displayed at the top when opening the mount UI in the sparring lobby will be fixed.
The problem where the displayed Combat Power in the character UI did not immediately update when changing the blessing of the Guild Fountain will be fixed.
The problem where actual Combat Power and the Combat Power in Powerful Punch Master! event UI were different under specific conditions will be fixed.

Looking back before the comments here were reset people saying that the ore was going to start selling for the price of amulet. Just looked at the board and what a load of bs those people were spreading it looks the same to me price as it always been. If anything they only slightly went up as far as I can see.
The revamp on enhancement system is awful. Simple math can show that you would have to spend 6.8B in order to get a +10 amulet (considering the price of a fluorite ore as 38kk) WITHOUT calculating the repair scrolls so wth thought it would be a great idea? With this, the materials to make an amulet, even the amulet's price itself, will skyrocket! Maybe buying amulets now and selling them after the revamp is a good investment, I don't know.
Restoration scrolls is around 250 million per piece and you're expected to spend one in 1-2 attempt, so yeah, this system is pretty much useless for f2p unless you no life it. And I'm sure as hell won't do it.
Can anyone explain how the one bead characters were changed? I've been trying to figure it out by looking at videos of people playing them in KR, but at most all I can really gather is that their maximum Awakening Time might be affected by the Awakening Time stat now. And I've also seen Ains with over 200 seconds of Awakening Time with just one bead? I'm just really confused right now.

It doesn't increase twice as much when using el hammer, so this is useless, but let me plug the numbers into a calculator and see just how often pity could come into play. 1.8344% odds of hitting pity with profession + hammers 15% if you just yolo enhance without profession or hammers This is so goddamn bad lmfao

I was right, it's four characters this time! The pity system isn't great, tbh. 7->8 is fine, but I feel the increase of needed materials per level is just too high. My opinion on the Blacksmith Profession changes hasn't changed. I still would much rather have the Advanced Dismantle than the Reforge Cost Reduction.
I don't think you use fluorite ores trying to get +8...
Just looked it up on the wiki, and considering that they only prevent level reduction/reset, which can happen when trying to enhance Level 7 gear (in fact, they're each individually more likely than "no change" or "success" even at that point), I honestly doubt that.
